and he had a role in the sciences that revolve around the Book of God, the Noble Qur'an, He was referred to in this science, as he was one of the people's scholars in his time, and one of the most important sciences with which he distinguished is (the science of interpretation of the Noble Qur'an).

and his narrations included the interpretation of a large number of surahs and Qur'anic verses, But one of the most important complaints about his interpretation of the verses of the Noble Qur'an is his attempts, in various ways, to deflect the interpretation of Qur'anic verses that pertain to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) from them., especially in the verse of affection, and the verse of purification, and despite the nation's agreement that the term Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) refers to the five companions of the cloak (Muhammad, Ali, Fatimah, al-Hasan, and al-Husayn), he tried to divert this term from them to others.

therefore, this research dealt with the term Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the narrations of Ikrima to clarify and confirm this term with the five companions of the cloak, as well as to clarify what was stated in the narrations of Ikrima about the people of the House (peace be upon them).
