Abstract EN

The most important characteristic of the relationship between the Fatimid and Umayyad states is the conflict that erupted between them in order to control the trade routes, and control over the western land route that connects Sudan to the far Maghreb, where there were many land routes whose importance lies in the commercial field, which made it the focus of the two countries' attention to control it, this conflict was also characterized by a kind of fluctuation, which made it a "continuous" struggle, and the economic aspect is one of the factors of this conflict.
