Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the reality of the independence of education departments in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to identify the requirements for applying the independence of education departments in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

according to the nature and aims of the tudy, the analytical descriptive approach was used, based on previous studies and writings related to the subject of the study, with the aim of analyzing the reality of the independence of education administrations in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and determining the requirements necessary to achieve this independence.

the study reached many results, most notably: that the kingdom of Saudi Arabia is making great efforts towards developing education departments and granting them more powers to enhance their independence, and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia aims to develop educational departments to enhance the trend towards administrative decentralization.

in fact, educational departments suffer from centralized decision-making and reliance on hierarchical organizational structures, with which it is difficult to exchange information smoothly.

there are also many administrative, material and human difficulties facing the implementation of the independence of educational departments in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

there are many requirements necessary to achieve the independence of the education departments, the most prominent of these requirements : supporting the regulations and system for the independent orientation, providing financial resources and distinguished human cadres.

the study recommends the need to find an appropriate formula to enhance the powers of the education departments in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in order to enhance the trend towards the independence of these departments.

and work to provide the material and human requirements necessary to achieve the independence of educational departments.
