Abstract EN

This study addresses the method of Ibn Zanjalah in choosing from the Qur'an recitations in his book "Hujjat Al-Qira'at", where the researchers tackled describing the terms of the common seven readings of the Qur'an.

Both scholars have traced all terms that have been used by Ibn Zanjalah quoted in his book and they have stated the scholars from whom Ibn Zanjalah quoted in the chapter of selectin.

The two researchers have also described the reasons that Ibn Zanjalah based on his selections.

Both have shown examples of the same.

This study has followed the inductive analytical approach and the study concluded with a set of findings, the most important are: 1.The term of Ibn Zanjalah differs in the choice.

Ibn Zanjalah has used "mostly" in his explanation, and sometimes leaves it.

Ibn Zanjalah, in selecting the reading of the common seven readings, has not complied to it, but he has chosen others in some places.

4.

Ibn Zanjalah has quoted from previous scholars in the chapter of selection.

Both researchers, who are specialized in the Qur'anic Reading Science have recommended for more care to the subject of selection in the guiding books.
