Most of the studies that specialize in the history of women gain great importance, and there are many of those Arab studies that focused on the history of Arab women, whether their political or social intervention, but most Iraqi and Arab libraries lack detailed studies that explain the political role of women during the Safavid era, whose role was clearly visible.

Kabir after the death of Shah Tahmasp I in 1576 AD, and his sons took over the throne, as that period witness a critical period in the history of Iran of internal conflicts and divisions between the leaders of the state and the Qizilbash, and the emergence of the great role of women in managing those conflicts by nominating one of them over the other to take the throne, In order for women to be able to maintain their influence and interests within the Safavid campus and on all state institutions, and among the most prominent women that appeared during that period was his son, Shah Tahmasp I, Princess Barikhan Khanum, who had a major role in appointing her brother Shah Ismail II at the expense of her brother, Prince Haider Mirza, as well as the wife of Shah Muhammad Khadabandeh, the cradle of Alia, who ran the affairs of the state, taking advantage of her husband's weakness and his inability to support her due to his illness, so these two women played important historical roles in the reign of Safavi, and this is what we will try to shed light on through this research.
