This study aims to clarify some concepts, which require more focused studies, and the subject of the second level of challenges for national security in general, is one of the topics of great importance, has increased its importance, its association with the Iraqi situation, its specificity, as well as being a clear example of states and societies, influenced by instruments of influence and challenges in the light of the weak capacity to face .and the need for strategic remedies the structure of the securit environment in Iraq is characterized by complex and intertwined elements, which had a major role in shaping the confused security landscape, which is characterized by ambiguity and volatility, so in light of such a scene, it has become necessary for researchers and specialists to study and analyze these challenges that threaten Iraqi national security, especially those unknown or diagnosed, in order to determine their patterns, levels, degree of complexity and then confront them, and this is what we will try to diagnose and clarify in.
