The research studies social peace from the perspective of Islamic legal objectives (Maqasid Al-Shari'ah) by explaining its foundational origins in the Quran and sunnah.

also, this study examines the relationship between social peace with Islamic legal objectives as well as fulfilling Islamic legal objectives in terms of necessity, requirement, development for social peace.

the inductive analytical and descriptive approach was utilized, by extrapolating Islamic legal objectives from their various aspects and stating their role in achieving social peace.

the findings found that Islam is concerned with social peace, and made it one of the basic tenets of the sharia due to its connection to public benefit and the interests of the people.
