The issue of the withdrawal of US forces in 2011 is an important matter and a turning point in the international arena in general, and the Iraqi arena in particular, when Iraq took a major turning point, represented by the vacuum in the place of the American forces, which was reflected in the Iraqi political arena through the race of some countries to acquire he extended his influence inside Iraqi territory, and this is similar to what actually happened earlier, when British forces withdrew from the middle east in 1968, which accelerated the pace of extending their influence in this region.

this was also reflected in the international environment through the region, as it still suffers from contradictions, anxiety and dislocation, which led to the emergence of many terrorist groups that entered the region into a war with these groups, which affected Iraq in particular and the region in general, and this withdrawal represented a dangerous strategic turning point.
