كان وما زال الإمام علي (عليه السلام) مصدر إلهامٍ للعديد من الباحثين والمفكرين، ليكتبوا عنه في ميادين العلوم المختلفة، ومن هذا المنطلق سعينا إلى تسليط الضوء على إسهامه (عليه السلام) في مجال الفكر السياسي الإسلامي بوصفه من المؤسسين لهذا الفكر منذ بواكير نشوئه، ومن رواده الذين أسهموا فيه إسهاماً عظيماً لا يعلو عليه، ولقد اتبعت المنهج الوصفي والتحليلي في هذه الدراسة، وتبعاً لذلك تم تقسيم هذه الدراسة إلى ثلاثة مباحث، جاء المبحث الأول تحت عنوان: (مفهوم الفكر السياسي الإسلامي)، وأما المبحث الثاني فكان بعنوان: (الإسهام في تأسيس النظرية السياسية الإسلامية)، والمبحث الثالث وعنوانه: (الإسهام في تنظيم إدارة الدولة الإسلامية)، ثم تلاهم الخاتمة وقائمة المصادر والمراجع.

Imam Ali (Pb) was and is Source of inspiration for many researchers and thinkers to write about him in various fields of Science.
As such, we have sought to highlight his contribution in the area of Islamic Political thought, being one of the founding members of this thought The researcher followed the descriptive method and the analytical method in this study, therefor, he divided the study into: The Concept of Islamic Political Thought, The Contribution to the foundation of Islamic Political and The Contribution to the foundation of Islamic Political Theory Theory and The Contribution to The Management of the Islamic State Administration.
