Abstract EN

The research deals with the study of the structure of large manufacturing industries in Dhi-Qar Governorate for the year 2021, as it was studied according to several criteria, such as the industrial branch criterion, the property and area criterion, and the labor criterion.

The study showed that the large manufacturing industries in the governorate amounted to (73) industrial establishments employing (7957) workers, which included six industrial categories.

The construction industries ranked first in terms of the number of establishments with a rate of (61.64%), while the textile industries and wood industries ranked last with a rate of (1.36%) in the number of establishments.
