This research is concerned with studying a kind of intertextuality in the poetry of Masar Riyad, and the poetic collection (1700) was chosen as a model due to the abundance of examples of Quranic intertextuality in it.

This research was divided into three axes preceded by an introduction, the first axis focused on the study of (the Qur'anic intertextuality and its objectives), and the second axis was concerned with the study of (the intertextuality of the Qur'anic verse in the poetry of Masar Riyad), which was divided into two types : they are "direct verbal intertextuality" and "Indirect verbal intertextuality", while the third axis dealt with (the intertextuality of the story in Masar Riyad's poetry to create new symbols that give his poetic text the power of persuasion and influence on the recipient.
