Abstract EN

The thinkers, historians of the Islamic Nation, and other researchers agreed on the history of Imam al-Kadhim (Peace on him), even their different doctrinal orientations, jurisprudential views, and political schools, that the Imam (Peace on him) was at the forefront of the jurists of his time, and of the scholars of his time.

The agreement on the combination of these characteristics and qualities in one person rather than any other man of his time, makes his legacy a lofty symbol of the Islamic Nation, and a clear sign of the immortal giving, which every Muslim must know about.

Meditating on it, in order to derive from it the knowledge, the right approach, and the original thought, by virtue of its being based on the Book of God, and the approach match from the Prophet's Sunnah, the wisdom and thought preserved by the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace on them).

Based on above, the researcher seeks to present an analytical approach to some of the legacy of Imam al-Kadhim (Peace on him), by focusing on some paragraphs of that shining legacy, and glimpses of that brilliant aphorism, by choosing the terms "Wisdom" and "Reason" that are mentioned in the Imam's Commandment to Hisham bin Al-Hakam, called by some researchers the "Golden Commandment" as a model of his rich legacy, and those aspects, goals and purposes which the Imam wanted to communicate to his listeners and narrators of his hadith and to the generations of Muslims after him throughout the ages and times.
