الآثار هي أي شـيء خلفته الحضارة سواء تم العثورعليه أو نقله، إذ تعـد جميع الآثار منفعـة عامـة، ولا يجوز التصرف فيها او الاستيلاء عليها أو حيازتها وفق قانون التقادم.
هناك مبان تراثية وأحياء ثقافية مملوكة للأفراد ومسجلة في سجل الآثار والتسجيل العقاري كمنطقـة محميـة ويعلـن عنهـا لأصحابها في الصحيفـة الرسمية ولا يجوز تغيير الغرض المقصود منها أو هدمها أو تجديدها إلا بإذن من السلطة الأثرية التي خلفتها الحضارة القديمة.
ولا يجـوز مهاجمة المناطق الأثرية أو تحويلها إلى أنقاض أو مناطق إسـكان أو إنشاء مشاريع إلا بترخيص من هيأة الآثار الى حد معين.
Abstract EN
Antiquities Anything left over by civilization whether found or transferred ,all antiquities shall be considered as public interest, which shall not be disposed of not seized or possessed by statute of limitations, There are heritage buildings and cultural neighborhoods owned by individuals and are registered in the antiquities Register and real estate registration as a protected area and declared to the owners in the official gazette and may not change the purpose intended for them or demolished or renovated only with permission from archaeological authority left by ancient civilization.
It is not permissible to attack the archaeological areas or make them a place of rubble, housing or construction of projects except with a license from the archaeological authority for a certain extent.
