Abstract EN

This research deals with analyzing the texts of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq for the year 2005 and conducting a harmonization between the international standards for constitutional drafting and the constitutional text, in order to give a picture of the extent of proportionality between them, as well as drawing a map of the expected constitutional amendments.

The scope of the research was limited to the preamble to the Iraqi constitution and the second chapter from it entitled (Rights and Freedoms), and international experiences were used in order to reach the research with its desired goals.
