This descriptive-analytical aims to identify some philosophical contributions to the study of the human voice phenomenon and the extent of convergence of concepts, terms, and ideas of various ancient and contemporary philosophers with the results and data of voice-related studies, based on scientific experience in the field of phonetics in treating voice disorders.

the most important are medical studies on the anatomy and physiology of the vocal apparatus, as well as physical, phonetic, psychological, and sociological studies.

we concluded that the latter excelled at accurate observation.

they regarded voice as a phenomenon influenced by various factors rather than a function produced by a single organ.

these factors were taken into account when creating modern voice therapy programs on which speech therapists rely.
