This paper aims to highlight the agricultural potential possessed by the Arab countries, and the efforts exerted to exploit them in order in achieving food security, and reducing the import bill within the framework of an Arab food cooperation strategy.

where our study found that, despite exploited and potential capacities of Arab states and their efforts to reduce food gap, some of them still suffer from fluctuations in food security indicators; and therfore, appear the importance of a regional food security strategy.
