The research paper aims to analyze and examine the impact of the energy and iron manufacturing industries on economic growth in Algeria, based on annual data for the period (1980-2020), using the ARDL autoregressive distributed time gaps model for co-integration.

the results of the study concluded that the energy manufacturing industries have a positive and significant statistical significance on economic growth in the long term, and that the higher value of economic growth, while the iron manufacturing industry was found to be insignificant and has a negative effect on economic growth in the same range.
