دور السياسة النقدية في مواجهة تداعيات جائحة كورونا (COVID-19)‎ على الاقتصاد الجزائري: دراسة تحليلية

Abstract EN

This study takes us back to the beginning of the emergence of the corona pandemic in Algeria and the world, as this study aims to clarify the role that monetary policy plays in addressing the implications of the emerging corona virus (COVID-19) on the Algerian economy, by analyzing the quantitative measures and tools that the central bank has harnessed to confront this crisis, and to achieve the above-mentioned goal the researchers relied on the analytical descriptive approach, using the previous literature and various official reports and statistics related to the subject of the research.

this study concluded that the Algerian central bank has used various tools of direct and indirect monetary policy in the face of the consequences of the emerging CORONA virus, where it took several measures and actions to ensure the stability of the economy and averting a crisis recession, but it cannot be judged on the effectiveness of monetary policy in the face of the Algerian CORONA virus for several reasons presented at this end of the study.
