Possession has a very important position among legal systems, not only from a theoretical point of view, but also because of the serious effects it has that may place it in the forefront among the causes of ownership.

possession is the apparent title of ownership, as the possessor of a thing is often its owner, and whoever he claims otherwise to establish the opposite evidence for the validity of his claim.

therefore, possession, as a realistic condition, may not be based on any right of the possessor, and despite this, the legislator has guaranteed it the necessary legal protection.

this protection cannot be embodied by means legally prescribed for it unless we are familiar with the general rules or provisions that govern it.
