Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to identify the role played by associations in structuring volunteer work from an organizational and legislative perspective in Algeria after the COVID-19 pandemic, and to assess their current situation, their ability to seize opportunities, and to promote volunteer work by discovering new practices and gaining the capacity to lobbying and improve the legislative framework for it.

the study relied on a descriptive method and used survey and non-structured interviews to collect data.

the study concluded that there is a limitation in the role played by the associations studied from an organizational perspective and their lack of impact from a legislative standpoint, despite their positive performance during the pandemic, which eliminates the challenges in advancing volunteer work current context.
