The study focuses on the analysis of the Wakaf in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries between status quo and future perspectives.

The analysis of existing situation of the Wakaf in the GCC countries, indicate a variation in the level of development among these countries.

In addition, the level of cooperation - whether bilateral or Multilateral-is limited and calls for further enhancement.

The forces of change that influence the development of Wakaf in these countries were examined.

This includes the growing use of technology, the increase in digital transformation of Wakaf institutions and the empowerment of women and stakeholders.

Based on extensive analysis, eleven recommendations were suggested to achieve the desired objectives of developing Wakaf and enhance the cooperation among these countries either bilateral or Multilateral and anticipating future trends and challenges.
