Abstract EN

This research aims to shed light on some of the reasons for the low motivation to learn mathematics among preparatory secondary school learners and to try to find some solutions to overcome this phenomenon.

In this study, we relied on two parts: theoretical and practical, where in the theoretical side the concept of learning motivation and some of the factors affecting it were identified.

As for the practical side, we distributed the forms to the students in order to verify the validity of the hypotheses or not, using the so-called Likert scale Triplets and chi-square independence are powerful means of analyzing and interpreting the results of a given study.
