To achieve equity and quality education for all while accessing neighbourhood schools, regardless of their differences, inclusive education has been adopted by most countries.

Accordingly, efforts were made to develop inclusive pedagogies in line with local contexts.

However, the inclusion of all children in local schools has its origins in modern pedagogies.

For instance, Célestin Freinet had established a collaborative pedagogy that enhances learners' capabilities and enables teachers to change their practices to become active and provide opportunities for each learner to achieve quality learning.

Moreover, Freinet's pedagogy emphasizes focusing on strengths and decreasing inequality and marginalization in schools.

Accordingly, Freinet's pedagogy has already engaged in the implementation of inclusive teaching practices within classrooms.
