تحليل أثر السياسة الزراعية على إنتاج محصول الرز في العراق للمدة (2020-2000)‎

Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to analyzing the impact of agricultural policy on rice production in Iraq for the period (2000-2020) and the study aimed to identify the actual contribution of agricultural policy and its positive role.

And The study concluded that the production was not sufficient to cover the local markets, which prompted the government to work on the incentive policy by subsidizing the prices of the rice crop due to the population increase to cover the domestic product of rice for the local need of the rice crop, and the study recommended that the government should take into consideration the increasing population increase in recent years, and therefore the increase in rice production should correspond to the increase in population, and overcoming hunger, poverty and malnutrition.
