The study aims to analyze the reality of the work of food stores in Wasit and conduct a process of evaluating the performance efficiency of their work and what are their capabilities in providing the volume of services entrusted to them.

The researcher reached a set of conclusions and recommendations, and the most important conclusion is revealed by the standard of the degree of industrialization, the ability and ability of stores to adapt according to the values of production and its requirements.

And that through a comparison with the previous year 2010, as it was about (28389992) as a result of weak government support and the financial deficit in the federal general budget.

It is recommended that the warehouse management should set research and development plans in order to keep abreast of developments in the production process in the food industry by communicating with research centers and experts to improve the level and quality of production by relying on modern means and methods in warehouse management.
