أكدت نتائج اختبار تفاعل البوليمريز المتسلسل PCR باستعمال زوج البادئات المتخصصة Fjav و Rjav تسجيل إصابة نبات الدفلة (Nerium oleander) بنيماتودا تعقد الجذور Meloidogyne javanica).
ولم تختلف طبيعة الأعراض المرضية على المجموعين الخضري والجذري عما يسببه هذا النوع من النيماتودا على عوائله من النباتات الزهرية المختلفة ودلّت نتائج دراسة أشكال ومراحل تطوّر الأجنّة داخل البيض تحت ظروف المختبر على وجود تباين في مؤشر شكل البيض الذي تضعه الإناث المتطفلة على نبات الدفلة إذ تراوح ما بين 35.8 و 87.9، في حين ترواح مؤشر شكل البيض السائد ما بين 44.5 و 48.8.
كما بينت النتائج المراحل المختلفة التي تمر بها الأجنة داخل البيض حتى وصولها الى مرحة الفقس النهائية.
Abstract EN
The identification and first record of Nerium oleander infection with root-knot nematode M.
javanica was confirmed by the PCR test using the pair of species-specific primers (Fjav and Rjav).
Symptoms of the Oleander root-knot disease are similar to those caused by these nematodes on other flowering plants.
The results of the study described the stages of embryo development inside the egg and until hatching under laboratory conditions.
The difference in egg shape index ranged from 35.8 to 87.9, whereas the dominant egg shape index was between 44.5 and 48.8.
