This study aims to reveal the level of emotional intelligence of students at The University of Ouargla practitioners of sports activities, and to identify the differences in the level of their emotional intelligence by gender and specialization (technical, literary).

to achieve the objectives of the study was used the test of emotional intelligence of Osman and Rizk, and applied to a sample of students from The University of Ouargla practicing sports activities consisting of (75) students, the results showed that the level of emotional intelligence among students practicing sports activities at the University of Ouargla is high, and there are no statistically significant differences in the emotional intelligence of the students Practitioners of sports activities by gender and specialization.
