the industrial development was a reason for the accumulation of industrial waste, toxic gases and chemicals resulting from these industries, and the packaging methods used in different types, so the research attempted to present the concept of the economics of the packaging system, and the role of that vital system in preserving the environment, by defining the concept of standards and adopting them as technical systems imposed by the management of industrial institutions and using them to distinguish between different products, and to determine the most important production methods with the highest efficiency and the lowest impact on the environment, and to explain the most important economic standards to be observed a in the process of packaging and packaging food products and clarify the most important developments in the field of packaging system technologies for food industries, while defining the most important modern environmental considerations related to them in the field of food industries and the possibility of their application in the food industry sector in Iraq.
