The research aims to prepare proposed criteria for evaluating the quality of the academic profile of Al-Mustansiriya University, including the teaching axis, research activities, the search and browsing mechanism, the curriculum vitae of the teachers, publishing services, participation and documentation of sources.

The analytical approach was used by analyzing the profile interfaces of the first ten universities in the QS world classification, in addition to the academic profile of Al-Mustansiriya University, for the purpose of preparing a list of proposed criteria for verification and using it as a tool for data collection.

The survey method was also used in studying the use of the academic profile from Before a deliberate sample of the beneficiaries, which included professors and students of the Information and Libraries Department at Al-Mustansiriya University, their number reached (33) teachers and (291) students, in addition to using the interview as a tool for collecting data on the academic profile.

(50%) of the paragraphs of the teaching axis, as it lacks links for educational courses on the approved platforms in e-learning, and does not include lecture schedules or the locations of the teachers' presence, and it achieves only (36%) of the axis of intellectual production and research activities, and its lack of automatic indexing services And the profile achieved (9%) only from the search and browsing axis, as it lacks the services of documenting sources and exporting references, and web measurements.

It is to establish an institutional repository for Al-Mustansiriya University to preserve the intellectual output of its researchers, provide an indexing mechanism to improve the efficiency and accuracy of retrieval, publish drafts and working papers on the profile, provide a source documentation service, an alternative measurement service, and provide the profile with links to courses on electronic platforms approved in education...
