Abstract EN

The study aimed to: identify the criminal justice unit and their role in the security services in detecting the perpetrators of crimes.

the study concluded: that the legal rooting of the elements of archeology is legally permissible, and that the archeology department is a recent establishment in the security services in the governorates of Gaza and it is affiliated with the Palestinian police and has been subjected to several obstacles due to the circumstances that the governorates of Gaza are going through.

the study recommended the need to strengthen the role of the human element in the security services so that at least two personnel are placed in each governorate and their job is inherent to the investigation officer personnel so that the transition takes place as soon as any crime is reported.

it also urged the security services to conduct awareness lectures for security personnel showing the importance of this work and its role in contributing and helping to uncover some ambiguous issues.
