Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the impact of globalization on changing the roles of the Palestinian family in Gaza governorate.

The study uses a descriptive research approach.

A questionnaire was applied to a random sample of (230) family guardians in Gaza Governorate.

The study finds that globalization has an impact on changing the roles of the Palestinian family in Gaza Governorate with a proportion of (81.6%).

The most dramatic impact of globalization is found in the change of the social role of the Palestinian family with a percentage of (83.1%).

This is followed by the cultural role with a percentage of (82.9%), while the economic factor has played a role with a percentage of (79.4%) ، The results of the analysis showed that the modified interpretation coefficient (R2) (0.523), which means that (52.3%) is due to the impact of globalization on the roles of the Palestinian fam256ily in Gaza Governorate.

In respect with the ’type of profession as a variable’, the study finds that there are no statistically significant differences between the different levels of the globalization impact on changing the roles of the Palestinian family in Gaza Governorate.
