The study aimed to identify the role of management information systems in raising the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative decisions in service establishments, and the study relied on the descriptive analytical approach and the questionnaire as a main tool for the study.

the study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: the reality of management information systems applied in service institutions in the Gaza strip came with a relative weight of (84.20%), which is to a large degree, that what is the level of efficiency and effectiveness of administrative decisions in service institutions in the Gaza strip came a relative weight of (80.20%), which is to a large degree.

there is a correlation between management information systems in raising the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative decisions in service institutions in the Gaza strip.

there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance of the respondents' responses about the role of management information systems in raising the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative decisions in the Palestinian telecommunication company and bank of Palestine is attributed to the variable years of experience, and the differences came in favor of those with years of experience it concerns 15 years and over, and the study recommended the following : the necessity of developing and raising the efficiency of management information systems in both bank of Palestine and the Palestinian telecommunications company.
