Abstract EN

The reasons for choosing this study (the diplomatic thought of Sheikh Muhammad Taqi al-Shirazi) came to refute the belief of some that the religious reference was limited to the religious and social aspects only, and that it had nothing to do with foreign policy and was not good at diplomacy.

the historical reference, so it was important to define and highlight this aspect, and to prove its truth with documentary evidence that the reference practiced peace diplomacy in order to achieve the aspirations of the Iraqi people.

the research came in this introduction, three chapters and a conclusion as follows: introduction: it includes the importance of the research, its objectives, reasons for choosing it, research methodology, documents, sources and references used.

the first topic: the diplomatic correspondence of Shirazi and his son with the king of Hejaz and his sons.

the second topic: the diplomacy of the religious reference towards the league of nations and world leaders.

the third topic: correspondence of the seminary leaders with us president Woodrow Wilson.

in its subject, the study relied on a variety of sources and references, ranging from published documents to various academic document studies.

the most prominent published documents were (the documents of the great Iraqi revolution, its introductions and results), in its three parts, which were collected and commented on by Kamel Salman al-Jubouri, which was issued by the Arab historian house in Beirut in 2009.

this documentary record is indispensable to the researcher in the history of the twentieth revolution.
