This study aimed to deepen the question of the study of the holy Quran by the Arab modernists.

by adopting the approaches of contemporary western studies and how to apply them to the sacred text, and this through two intellectual models that had an opinion and a position on this subject, represented in the structural approach and study of the Koran of al-Jabri and the phenomenological approach and the study of the heritage of Hassan Hanafi.
