The idea of this research is based on the pragmatic approach of the most prominent linguistic means and mechanisms through which solidarity and directive strategies are formed in the tweets of the Saudi ministry of health on its account on the social media application "twitter" in 2020, 2021.

the most prominent objectives of this research were to highlight the concept and strategies of health awareness discourse and to shed light on this type and its importance, and to uncover the most visible linguistic means and various tools that achieve solidarity and directive strategies of health awareness discourse.

the research revealed the availability of the two strategies in the ministry of health's awareness-raising discourse, with a more visible presence of the directive strategy.

the researcher recommends the study of specialized non-literary discourse of various kinds; this is because of the realism of this discourse and its impact on the public and practical life of the people, the importance of raising the linguistic level in relation to linguistic content in social media, and the need for linguists to review what comes from official authorities.
