Abstract EN

This research aims to identify aspects of contemporary linguistic thought through poetic creations.

As poets are leaders in their communities, they poetized about these difficult circumstances of corona epidemic.

The research studies the sentence in its nominal and verbal form, in accordance with the model of transformative generative theory, to analyze the poetic text.

The research also links the efforts of Arab scholars in the structural study, with contemporary linguistic theories, and reveals the leadership of Arab scholars to reflect on contemporary linguistic concepts of Westerners.

The research followed the descriptive analytical approach, and consists of an introduction, a preface, two chapters, and a conclusion.

The introduction identifies the basics of research, the preface defines the research blog and chosen poets.

The first chapter addresses structures of the nominal and verbal sentences as the basis for the selected poetic texts.

The second chapter discusses the verbal and semantic methods that achieve coherence and consistency in the poet's message expressing his feeling about the infection with corona, and his attempt to alert the addressees to take caution.

The conclusion highlights the most important findings and recommendations, which are: - The research found that the elements of verbal interdependence were explicit and implicit pronouns, demonstrative and vocative formulations, and the elements of lexical coherence represented by repetition and coherence.

-The research has shown that semantic consistency is the interrelationship between the circumstantial expression and its referred person, the adjective and the substantive, the joined and the conjunctive has contributed to the achievement of intended meaning, enabling the poet to transfer the linguistic content related to the Corona epidemic to the recipient.
