Abstract EN

The objective of the current research is to develop instructional design skills for King Khalid University students by developing an electronic training environment based on the KKUX electronic platform.

The research sample consisted of (74) specialists who were chosen in a random way then preparing a note card to measure the performance aspects of instructional design skills.

Educational design specialists in education and training institutions.

The results of the research resulted in the presence of a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the pre-application and the average scores of the post-application in the cognitive test, as well as in the observation card due to the development of the e-learning environment based on electronic platforms, in favor of the post-application.

Additionally, after calculating the Eta square (n²), the effect size (applied significance) as a result of developing the electronic educational environment based on electronic platforms yielded better results in developing both the cognitive and performance aspects of educational design skills among educational design specialists in education and training institutions.
