The aim of the current research is to assess the programs of the Center for professional development in the light of specialized professional standards from the point of view of science supervisors and teachers, the research used the descriptive methodology, the questionnaire was used as a tool, and its sample consisted of (15) supervisors and (90) teachers, and the research followed a set of statistical methods such as: arithmetic averages, ratios, standard deviation, T test, The programs of the Center for professional development in Najran took into account the Specialized professional standards for teachers to a large extent with an average of (3.9), and a standard deviation of (0.94), while from the point of view of teachers, these programs took into account the professional standards of teachers to an average degree with an average of (2.94), and a standard deviation of (0.90), and there are no significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the responses of the members of the research sample of Supervisors and teachers regarding the standards of familiarity with the scientific method and its ethics and its applications in the field of science, conducting practical experiments taking into account the safety and security rules in the laboratory, and there are significant differences between the responses of the research sample members from supervisors Teachers at the level of significance (0.05) in four criteria, namely : the application of practical and mathematical principles and concepts, data representation, clarification of the importance of the integration of Science and its applications in life, familiarity with the general basic skills in teaching science and modern trends in the field of scientific education, familiarity with teaching methods and strategies and evaluation methods of Science for the benefit of Supervisors.
