Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the role of schools managers in teachers development professional of Education Directorate in Madaba Governorate, from the teachers point of view of.

The study community is one of the schools affiliated to the Directorate of Education in Madaba Governorate.

As for the study sample, it consisted of (200) male and female teachers chosen in a simple random manner.

The descriptive and analytical approach was used.

The tool is the questionnaire consist of (17) paragraphs, and the veracity of the instrument has been verified and proven.

The results of the study showed that the role of school principals in the professional development of teachers in the Directorate of Education in Madaba Governorate, according to the axis of professional development methods, was of a high degree.

And that their role in accordance with the pivotal importance or benefits of professional development was a moderate degree.

The results also showed that there were no differences in the responses of the study sample due to gender changes and years of experience.

And there are differences in the responses of the study sample due to the variable of the educational qualification.

The study recommended that preparing annual courses for school principals in the Directorate of Education in Madaba Governorate, and involving them in conferences and seminars to enhance their knowledge of modern professional development methods for teachers and teachers, and to inform them of the most recent and to exchange the experiences and experiences they obtained during their work.
