Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the degree to which earth science teachers practice the simulation strategy in teaching in the schools of the Qasbah Amman directorate, and to know the impact of using the simulation strategy in raising students' motivation towards learning from the teachers' point of view.

the researcher followed the descriptive survey method for its suitability for the purposes of this study.

the study population consisted of male and female earth science teachers in Amman governorate schools, and the study sample consisted of 107 male and female teachers, to whom a questionnaire was applied to the degree to which earth science teachers practice the simulation strategy and its impact on raising students' motivation in the basic stage from the teachers' point of view themselves.

on (22) items prepared by the researcher, their validity and reliability were verified.

the results showed that the degree of earth science teachers' practice of the simulation strategy is medium, as the total arithmetic mean of the axis of earth science teachers' practice of the simulation strategy was (2.9), which is an average degree of (58%).

as for the results of teachers' response to the axis of raising students' motivation towards learning, they indicate that teachers see that the simulation strategy raises students' motivation to a strong degree, as the total arithmetic mean of the axis was (3.91) and its percentage was (78.3%), which is a strong indicator.

the study came out with a set of proposals, the most important of which is conducting empirical studies dealing with the effect of teaching using simulation on raising students' motivation.
