Abstract EN

This study aimed to show the administrative means to combat corruption in the public office in Jordanian legislation, which go hand in hand with the criminal means for this dangerous phenomenon.

To this end, the study showed the concept of corruption in the public office, its most important characteristics, and the images in which it appears within the framework of the public service.

Hence, the concept of anti-corruption, its importance and manifestations in Jordanian legislation was examined.

Finally, the study showed the administrative confrontation with acts of corruption in the public office, whether it was an objective or procedural confrontation.

The study followed a set of results, the most important of which was that the administrative means to combat corruption are those ways that the administration itself uses to prevent its employees from falling into corruption, and other departments may contribute to this, such as the oversight role of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission.

The most important of which is the need to expedite the accountability of the employee who has been proven to have committed corruption without delay, because of the danger in wasting evidence that condemns this employee and everyone who has fallen into corruption.
