This research paper seeks to shed light on the efforts of DR Abd Al Rahman al-HajSaleh in phonetic research, those concepts and theories appeared many works of early Arab scholars such as al-khalilibn Ahmed al-Farahidi and his student Sibawayh, which made him compare some works of traditionalists with modern linguistic theories to prove the Grammarians who go beyond those means which were available in their time also demonstrate the validity of the scientific results which they reached, with a precise objective, epistemological study that has proven and acquired a scientific character that doesn’t accept doubt and ambiguity.
