The wars and armed conflicts that the world has witnessed earlier and now is one of the strongest causes that have destroyed the conflicts in which deadly dangerous weapons have been used around the world and despite the international community's efforts and endeavours to prohibit the use of all forms of weapons of mass destruction that are harmful to the environment, considering the damage to them and their essential elements of war crimes, however, the belligerents' desire for military victories is greater than their ability to comply with the provisions of these treaties, so this investigate the risks faced by the environment and the implications of the use of lethal weapons of all kinds, on environmental security during armed conflicts, as illustrated in this study by various international legal mechanisms to protect the environment from the threat of lethal weapons during armed conflicts and when they are sufficient to achieve this.
