Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the effect of using interactive educational games in developing visual intelligence and motivation towards learning geography among sixth- grade students in Jordan.

this study consisted of (40) students from the sixth grade students in the second semester of the school year 2021 / 2022 in Azhar al-Islam modern private schools in the capital governorate Amman, the sample was divided into two randomly selected sections, one of which was randomly assigned to be an experimental group and the other to be a control group, in order to achieve the objective of the study, two tools were used, one of which is the visual intelligence test in geography, and the other is a measure of motivation towards learning geography, and after verifying their validity and reliability applying them to the sample members.

the results of the study showed that there are statistically significant differences between the arithmetic averages of the performance of the sample members on the test of visual intelligence and the identification of motivation towards learning geography, attributable to the method of teaching and for the benefit of the members of the experimental group who were taught using the interactive educational game(wordwall).
