There is no doubt that this category needs special attention, because the conditions of disability impose restrictions on the disabled that affect their various abilities, and the disabled has the right of his society to help him achieve the best possible investment of his current abilities to live a life as close as possible to a normal life, and to be a useful and productive member For himself and his country, and in addition to these institutions, libraries of all kinds have emerged as a cultural and educational tool that can contribute to serving individuals with special needs by offering library and information services to this segment in a manner and special capabilities that meet their needs as a beneficiary audience, who must be provided with the desired service according to the type of disability he suffers, and the study aims To get acquainted with the reality of the necessary infrastructure in the libraries of Al-Azhar University, Assiut branch, from the available technologies to serve students with special needs, and to identify the c Its technical and material readiness to use and benefit from it, and to learn about the developed information services provided by the libraries of Al-Azhar University, Assiut branch to the community of people with special needs, their availability and quality, and to monitor the challenges and obstacles facing the study libraries towards developing and providing advanced services that serve people with special needs, and the researchers relied on the approach Survey and checklist tool for collecting data and achieving study objectives.
