Abstract EN

This research deals with the close connection between two fields of knowledge: the field of sharia policy and the great imamate in its relation with the area of sharia purposes, seeing that they are among the oldest Islamic sciences with which the predecessors were concerned.

besides, they are among the most widely consulted sciences in reality whenever new facts emerge.

in this regard, the knowledge of these two sciences and their manifestations with the field of deliberation is of paramount importance.

this research under scrutiny is governed by two approaches.

the first concerns the conceptual boundaries and their legal rooting.

the second copes with the traits of the connection between the two sciences, whether at the level of theorization, the level of adaptation or the level of rules.

we have come to the conclusion that the legitimate policy of the jurisprudence of the predecessors is based on the inferential foundations put forward by Muslim scholars.

the predecessors' inference of purposes remains one of the most prominent rules of inference and therefore the two sciences have a lot in common at the level of rules regulating the two sciences with which the knowledge complementarity between sciences is attained.
