Abstract EN

This research studies the rhetoric of representation in the Holy Qur'an through the book “Al-Kashshaf” by Abu al-Qasim al-Zamakhshari.

The research aims to introduce this man and his book, and determine the importance of the rhetorical interpretation of the Holy Qur'an.

It also aims to clarify the role of representation in clarifying the intended meaning, and to extract some of the subtleties of representation, its motives and effects from a book “Al-Kashshaf” by Al-Zamakhshari.

One of the most important results of the research is that representation is a rhetorical method that leads to statement of the intended, and revealing the desired purpose.

In which the hidden meanings are revealed, and the statement of facts, so that the ent is as if it is a visible, and the imagined is in the form of the investigator.

In addition, representation is mention in the Holy Qur'an in very many positions; it is in the form of a simile or metaphor that is appropriate for the characteristic of the model, its condition or its story.

And this representation contributes to enriching the suspense in expression, and the persuasion in meaning
