The novel "Al-Hawat walqasr" deals with the relationship of political power with society, and its negative features, summarized by the wide gap between the two parties, and scenes of injustice.

This study aims to analyze the "fantastic" features of Ali al-Hawat journey, and also to show the "fantastic" role in shaping the awareness of the characters.

The study found that fantastic are able to express what is unfamiliar, dangerous and new.

As for the fantastic features, the first is the subject, and secondly, they are the narrative elements; thus, the contents of the novel were attended indirectly, and the meanings came as astonishing.
