Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the level of psychological hardness among students of the Department of Educational and psychological sciences at the faculty of education.

University of Benghazi as well as identifying the differences in psychological hardness among the study sample.

according to the variables of social status (married - single) and the study division (psychological counseling kindergarten) and the researcher used the comparative descriptive method for its relevance to the nature and objectives of the study.

the researcher applied the Kobasa psychological hardness scale Arabization of Mukhaymar (2002) on all students of the seventh and eighth semesters.

department of educational and psychological sciences faculty of education university of Benghazi the number of (43) students and the study reached the following results: 1-there is a high level of psychological hardness in the study sample 2 there are no differences in the psychological hardness of the study sample according to the student's social status variable (married-single).

3-there are no differences in the psychological hardness of the study sample according to the variable of the study division (psychological counseling kindergarten).

in conclusions the researcher presented a set of recommendations the most important of which is activating the role of guidance and direction at the university.

paying attention to student activity and holding awareness seminars for students.
