Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the Obstacles facing the school administration in the schools of the district of Marka from the point of view of school principals and their assistants, the descriptive analytical method was used, the study sample consisted of (211) principals and assistants of Marka district education schools, Amman, Jordan, to achieve the objectives of the study, the study tool was built, which consisted of (34) items, and included (4) areas: administrative obstacles, technical obstacles, material obstacles, personal obstacles, the study tool was verified and reliable.

The results showed that the degree of obstacles facing the school administration in the schools of Marka district from the point of view of school principals and their assistants was high, the results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences for the variable: sex, years of experience, and there are significant differences for the variables: educational qualification and school level.

The researcher recommended the holding courses to develop school administration skills, and grating school administration more decision- making powers.
